April 2008

Wednesday 9th April - Celebrating our 18th Anniversary, we can now vote! Meal at the Joiners Arms 7:00 for 7:30pm. Please pay week before.

Monday 14th April - Speaker Tom Edwards Police Community Support Officer. Competition - Anything to do with Police Work. Refreshments and raffle, Heather and Mair.

 

May 2008

Monday 12th May - Speaker Ada Garton on Recycling. Competition - Anything that you recycle. Refreshments and raffle, Doreen and Megan. Will discuss the resolutions.

 

June 2008

Monday 9th June - Speaker Denise Jayne on Line Dancing. Competition - Anything to do with Sewing. Refreshments and raffle, Val and Eirlys.

Friday 13th June - Coffee evening with a Twist. Competition - Ages 16-49 and 50+. Refreshments and raffle by members.

 

July 2008

Monday 14th July - Speaker Meirwen Nichollas on Dwylo Caredig (Kind Hands). Competition - Speed Knitting. Refreshments and raffle, Sheila and Margaret.

Monday 8th September - Speaker Queenie Busst on Sugar Icing. Competition - Something Sweet. Refreshments and raffle, Carolyn and Peggy.

TBA - Stradey Choir at the Tetley Suite in aid of the Hospice and Llanelli Diabetics Society.

 

October 2008

Monday 6th October - rehearsal for group meeting. Musical director Janice Nichollas. Refreshments and raffle Helen and Lynne.

Monday 13th October - Hosting the Autumn group meeting at the Education Centre. Refreshments and raffle by members.

 

November 2008

Monday 10th November - Our AGM, Charity to be named. Competition an Old Book. Refreshments and raffle, Janice and Meirwen.

 

December 2008

Monday 1st December - Carvery at the Joiners Arms, 7-7:30pm. Competition - a Christmassy Hat.

Monday 8th December - Carol Service at St Davids Church Llwynhendy 6:45pm.
